Galilee
The region has three main areas: Upper Galilee, Lower
Galilee and Golan Heights. It has rich soil thanks to the
basalt and volcanic plateau. As a result of the higher
altitude it has cooler climate, that is why it becomes Israel's
finest wine growing areas.

Shomron
This is the largest wine growing region, it has three main
areas: Mount Carmel, Sharon, and Shomron Hills. The high
altitude, the humid and warm climates and the typographic
conditions give excellent standards to the wines. In the
early nineteenth century Edmond James de Rothschild
established the great wine growing area around Zichron
Yaacov.

Samson
This is the second largest wine region in Israel. On the
central coastal plain it has two main areas: the Judean
lowlands and Judean foothills. The climate is
Mediterranean, so the summers are warm and the winters
are cool. The alluvial clays, limestone and the freedraining
loam account for its great soil.
