4. Who can appear for ISI M. Stat?
 Applicants having a three-year Bachelor’s degree or a BE/B. Tech degree
with Statistics as a subject.
 Applicants having a B. Math degree from ISI.
 Applicants having a Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistical Methods and
Analytics from ISI.

5. What is the selection procedure?
 Students with B. Stat (Hons) degree from ISI get direct admission to the
program without any selection test or interview.
 For all other eligible candidates, selection is based on candidate’s
performance in written tests and subsequent interview.
 The written tests comprises of questions on Statistics and Mathematics at
the undergraduate level in both multiple-choice and short answer type
questions.
What is the amount of stipend offered?
 Stipend/Fellowship per month: Rs. 5000
 Contingency Grant per year: Rs. 5000
