The toponymy (=name of the cities) comes from the Vikings (ex: Wexford or Wicklow) and they founded Dublin in 988 After the Vikings, the Anglo-Normand directed by Henri VIII of England invaded Ireland. The Irish Fought them and there were many revolutions.
