Dermot Culleton has been tasked with coordinating the construction of a campsite that will house around 100 workers building the Wivenhoe to Toowoomba pipeline. The campsite is being established on the Esk Hampton Road opposite the Esk Bowling Club, and will be ready by the end of next month with demountable accommodation units, a kitchen, and storage facilities. Construction of the pipeline itself will begin in various locations in February, with the project scheduled for completion in January 2010 at a cost of $187 million.
