• Must secure not just the device, but the network and the servers
• If BYOD was hard to manage, IoMT make it another worst!

• In the US HIPAA & OCR IoT audits focus on Security, Privacy and Breach notifications
• Require thorough risk management including risk identification, assesment (likelihood and
impact on operation) and risk mitigation

• Prepare audits with HIPAA audit protocols or alike
• Involve 3rd parties, external experts and consultants
