Sanparith Marukatat will give an invited talk titled "AI in medicine" from 1:00-1:50 PM on November 25, 2020. Dr. Marukatat received his computer science degree in 1998 from University of Franche-Comté, Besançon in France and completed his doctoral thesis at University Paris 6 in 2004. He currently works in the Image Processing and Understanding team at the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center, where his research interests include machine learning, statistical pattern recognition, and AI.

Sanparith Marukatat, National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC)
Sanparith Marukatat was graduated in computer science in 1998 from University of Franche-
Comté, Besançon in France. In 2004, he has completed the doctoral thesis at University Paris 6,
France. Currently, he is working in the Image Processing and Understanding team at the National
Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC). Dr. Marukatat's research interests
include machine learning, statistical pattern recognition, and AI in general. He also teaches
machine learning courses in various universities including Kasetsart University, the Sirindhorn
International Institute of Technology (SIIT), the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), the
Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC).
