10. Despite its plethora of advantages over traditional surfacing techniques, freeform production of multi-focals has created a
challenge in this regard due to its use of single-vision "blanks" with a fixed front curvature not naturally suited to a
variable progression.
Whilst Optik Mizen’s CURVE COMPENSATION technology is extremely effective in mitigating for this fixed front curvature,
some degree of compromise is inevitable, particularly with plus prescriptions and higher reading additions.

OPUS CURVE TECHNOLOGY incorporates a trigonmetric algorithm to achieve - what we believe to be - the most
finitely calculated VARIABLE FRONT CURVATURE of ANY multi-focal lens. At any given point in the progression,
