Greece: Album of family/friends photos. YoUtopia. Overcoming Generation GapKapetanidou Theodossia
This album was made by the pupils and teachers of 6o Geniko Lykeio of Aigaleo for our 4th visit of our Comenius team to Adana, Turkey. The subtopice inquired is "Overcoming the Generation Gap". The video contains photos of family and friends activities that show that there are ways that could lead to the elimination of the great differences that split apart newer and older generations and promote cooperation and mutual respect among members of families and society on a wider level.
1. Hi! My name is Maria Victoria Argüelles Dijou, I’m 17 years old and
I’m a high school senior. I haven’t decided what I want to study yet,
I’m between business and graphic designer, I enjoy drawing and work
with the technology, but at the same time I want to manage my
family company here in Corrientes and become an excellent business
woman.
I live near the seaside with my grandparents since I was a child, my
little Siamese, my poodle and my border collie (I love animals). I have
only one sister, Josefina, who is younger than me; she lives with my
mom and my stepfather. Also I have relatives in Buenos Aires; my father lives there with my
grandma, my uncles and my cousins. I love my family very much.
During the week I do a lot of activities, I work out at the gym in the afternoon and at night I go
for a walk in the coast, I study English three times a week at Leaders English Institute, I have to
assist to the afternoon shift on Wednesdays and on
Thursday I do PE. I’m keen on doing classical
techniques and modelling, so I attend to a class
where I practice both twice a week. The first one
help me with my posture and my movements, then I
implement what I learnt when I walk along the
runway. Moreover, this year I participated in
Corrientes Carnival, I love dancing, acting and
wearing amazing costumes, and all what I practiced
in my classes I used there, so I knew what I have to
do and how, I did my best. Also, I’m thinking about enter the next year again, I liked it so
much!
In my free time I play with the Play Station (I love videogames), I watch TV, mainly cartoons
and series, sometimes I make a couple of drawings or I do my homework in advance, so I get
more free time. Furthermore I enjoy going out with my friends or meeting them at home and
have those moments of laughing without stop.
I’m really into travelling around the world and meet new places,
cultures, people, so I’mexciting to visit England! I have been
abroad many times, but this will be a new experience for me, I
have never done a journey like this before. I hope we can enjoy a
great holiday together; I can’t wait to be there!
See you on June! Kisses!
