4. The duration of each written test shall be
not more than 2½hours,
And that of practical examination shall be
not be more than one hour.
5. Continuous written assessment tests shall have
five sections;
1. 20 Multiple Choice Questions 20
2. Section B 10 True/False Questions ½ 05
3. Section C 10 Matching Item Questions ½ 05
4. Section D 10 Short answer Questions 10
5. Section E Three (3) Essay Questions 20 60
TOTAL 100
6. There shall be one Practical test OSCE/OSPE with
total of 100% which shall be converted to 10%.
Coverage and marks distribution for the
practical shall have:
Introduction,
preparation,
performance, and
termination.
7. The students shall be required to have a well signed portfolio
books according to the stipulated competences.
It contribute 05% as part of the continuous assessment.
WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS
The student shall be required to submit at least two
individual written assignments each comprising total of 100%
which shall be converted to 2.5 each to make 05%.
PRACTICAL PROCEDURE BOOK
Students will be required to have a well signed practical
procedure books according to the stipulated competences. It
will contribute 05% as part of the continuous assessment.
8. SEMESTER EXAMINATION
The semester examination shall contribute 60% of
the total weight of the module. There shall be two
(2) components of Semester examination;
a) Written examination which shall contribute
25% of the SE weight
b) Clinical examination which shall contribute
35% of the SE weight.
9. There shall be one Clinical Examination with
total of 100% which shall be converted to 35%.
Coverage and marks distribution for the
practical shall have: Introduction, preparation,
performance, and termination.
NB: Distribution of marks shall be done in
accordance to the practical assessment forms/
checklist
