The interviewee, Patcy, is a 17-year-old who enjoys listening to punk rock music. When asked why, Patcy says it is invigorating, different from other mainstream music, diverse, and does not discriminate against listeners. While punk rock is their preferred genre, Patcy is open to other genres if they enjoy the music. Patcy believes punk rock is less popular among modern youth because it has an unfair reputation as "devil music" with a bad influence, but that the lyrics often have positive messages if people listen closely and understand them instead of judging based on extremes.

Interview with one of my interviewees<br />Me: what’s your name <br />Patcy: its patcy<br />Me: how old are you<br />Patcy: im 17<br />Me:what type of music do you like to listen to<br />Patcy: Punk rock <br />me:Why <br />patcy: Because its invigorating different to the other crap available and most of all its diverse it don’t discriminate against its listeners<br />me: Would you be willing to give other genres a try <br />patcy: Well I don’t discriminate against music if I like something I like something it just so happens that a majority of music i happen to listen to turns out to be punk rock<br />me: So why do u think that in modern day society punk rock isn’t so popular with the youths<br />patcy: Because i think that punk rock is given such a bad name some people interpret it as devil music with a bad influence and negative vibe.....but when really all they need to do is listen to the lyrics’ and understand what the song is trying to say in a majority of cases the music is trying to be positive and shoe people its alright to have different emotion ,as with all types of genres it has its bad side ii believe that people have listen to the extreme story’s and wan to judge i think the media jus gives us a bad name<br />me well thanks for your time<br />patcy :your very welcome<br />
