the major and at times, sole channel of communication in e-business.
• The main use of e-commerce over traditional commerce is the user can
browse online shops, compare prices and order merchandise sitting at
home on their PC.
• Here, the use of HTML and CSS to build the website where HTML is
known as the structure of the website and all the necessary contents are
shown and CSS is for the visual display of the website.

11. Design and Implementation
• To design E-commerce website page design using HTML and CSS.
• Designing and implementing an e-commerce website involves several
steps, and HTML and CSS are the core technologies used to build the
website's structure and style.
• Before designing the website, planning of the website's features, layout,
and content are done.
• Different landing pages are made such as login page which is the first
page where user will be able to provide their credentials and enter the
page.
• In the home page, the main context and all the features such as being able
to navigate them to different pages are shown.

12. • In the product page product category, including product images, descriptions,
their prices and add-to-cart buttons are placed.
• By using HTML and CSS to create a visually appealing layout for the product
pages.
• And by implementing a shopping cart feature that allows users to add products
to the cart and checkout.
• Usage of HTML and CSS to create a visually appealing cart page. This is
being done using the <div></div>(division tag) in html and using class
containers to place different products and details.
• With the help of CSS, the color, font and positions of the products, features are
done for the easy navigation and visual appeal of the website which makes
easier for the customers for using the website.

• E-Commerce refers to all forms of business activities across the
internet including E-tailing, intranets and extranets, online advertising,
and simply online presence.
• E-Commerce applications that started in early 1970’s needs to be still
developed in terms of security and efficiency.
• For the developing country like our India, advancement in e-commerce
is a challenge to compete with the developed countries.

18. Outcome of the internship
• This internship gave knowledge on C, C++ and web development
and helped us to design an e-commerce website using HTML and
CSS to create a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing platform.
• This project taught to build e-commerce website and make checkout
process to be simple, allowing users to complete their purchases
quickly and easily.
• With this internship, I was able to learn and improve my time
management skills, communication skills, industry etiquettes and
overall interpersonal skills by working in team for the project given.
