2. Introduction
 The Internet of Things (IoT) is a term coined by
Kevin Ashton, who conceived a system of
ubiquitous sensors connecting the physical
world to the Internet. Although things, Internet,
and connectivity are the three core
components of IoT, the value is in closing the
gap between the physical and digital world in
self-reinforcing and self-improving systems.
 Advanced Doorbell is a simple smart Door Bell,
which takes a photo of whoever rings it, and
emails it to the specified email address, and
keeps all the photos in a folder.

4. Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+
 The Raspberry Pi has made quite a
splash since it was first announced.
The credit-card sized computer is
capable of many of the things that
your desktop PC does, like
spreadsheets, word-processing and
games. It also plays high-definition
video. It can run several flavours of
Linux and is being used to teach kids
all over the world how to program.

6. Amazon Web Services AWS IOT
 AWS IoT provides secure, bi-directional
communication between Internet-
connected things (such as sensors,
actuators, embedded devices, or smart
appliances) and the AWS cloud. This
enables you to collect telemetry data from
multiple devices and store and analyse the
data. You can also create applications that
enable your users to control these devices
from their phones or tablets.

7. Amazon Web Services AWS SNS
 Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS) is a fast, flexible, fully
managed push notification service that lets you send individual messages
or to fan-out messages to large numbers of recipients. Amazon SNS makes
it simple and cost effective to send push notifications to mobile device
users, email recipients or even send messages to other distributed services.
 With Amazon SNS, you can send notifications to Apple, Google, Fire OS,
and Windows devices, as well as to Android devices in China with Baidu
Cloud Push. You can use SNS to send SMS messages to mobile device
users worldwide.

8. Working of Advanced Doorbell
 Once the visitor pressed the doorbell, it will publish and an alert will be sent using
AWS SNS service by Email or SMS, so we know someone is knocking the door no
matter where we. Visitors no longer need to call us and simply let the advanced
doorbell to do the job, deafness people also benefit using it so they can alert from
vibration of their phone.
 USB webcam are also added so the advanced doorbell will take a picture of visitor,
upload it using FTP (or you can use AWS service for storing the image) and attach the
link in the email or SMS message sent.
