1. Connected Objects– Internet of Things IoT
Slightly over a decade ago, the world was taken into a new age of connectivity with the
dawn of the internet. It was a phenomenon that literally took the world by storm. Ideas
that seemed like fairytales or devices that were thought nothing more than fictitious
machines from sci-fi movies suddenly became clear. All of the sudden the world
transitioned from using the landline telephone which had provided a means of
communication for more than a hundred years suddenly became replaced by video
calling over from the computer. A time when information was scarce and anything was

abundant and information flooded the monitor screens of people. This was all thanks to
