This document analyzes Pakistan's exports of services by category from 2007-2008 to 2011-2012. It presents data on transportation, travel, communication, financial, government, computer/information, and insurance services in tables and pie charts. Transportation services exports peaked at $1,648 million in 2010-2011 while government services exports were highest at $2,535 million in 2009-2010. Line charts show trends over time for each category. The analysis finds that government services declined likely due to WTO restrictions while transportation grew. Overall, exports were positively impacted by transportation and travel but faced challenges from political instability, currency issues, and brain drain.

1. Transportation Service:
The porportion of total Pakistan exports of Transportation Services to foreign countries is shown at Figure. 1.
About five year individual data of exports of Transportation services in which maximum exports of Transportation
services that are 25% in year 2010-11, while minimum exports of Transportation services is 15% in year 2007-08.

3. 2. Travel Services:
The porportion of total Pakistan exports of Travel services to foreign countries is shown at Figure. 2 . There is
maximum 24% exports of Travel services consectively in year 2010-11 and 2011-12, while minimum 15% exports
of Travel services exist in year 2008-09.

There is maximum 25% exports of Communication services in year 2009-10, while minimum 12% exports of
Communication services to foreign countries in year 2007-08.

4. 4. Financial Services:
The proportion of total Pakistan exports in Financial services to foreign countries is shown in Figure. 4. There
is maximum 28% exports of Financial services in 2009-10, while year 2007-08 shows the minimum exports of
Financial services is 13%.

10. Critical Analysis on Overall Exports of Services
The graphical representation of Line chart having the five years data of exports in seven different services
of Pakistan that categorical mentioned in line chart on horizontal axis and Exports volume in US million dollars
on Vertcal axis and also having identical colors for distinction in yearly bases exports of such services. The
graphical representation of data tells the change in trend of exports of services with their volume in US million
dollars.

The figure. 8 shows the change in trend of exports of services made by Pakistan to foreign countries based on
5 years (2007-08 to 2011-12) volume of exports. The exports of Government services show their positive
attitude of trend with US $ 2535 million in 2009-10, after that it shows negative attitude in trend. The reasons
behind the negative trend in exports of government services may be WTO with respect to GATS (General
Agreement on Trade Services) restrictions, lack of capable management and weak experts opinion. The
export of Transportation service is also one of the service who behave positively with US $ 1648 million in
2010-11. Moreover, the remaining services such as Travel service, Communication services, Computer & Info.
services, Financial services and Insurance services shows minute change in trend and may not affect the overall
exports of services in their composite volume of exports of services to foreign countries.
Finally, the critical analysis on overall exports of services of Pakistan to foreign countries shows that there is
a major problem to reduction in exports of services includes; War & Terror Problems, Political Instability,
depriciation in currency value, Donors States (United States, UK, Australia, China and Germany etc.) pressure
on Pakistan and Brain drain of competent employees.
