Three interns are described in the document. Antonio Carriere is a graduate student studying public administration who interns in the Advance Planning Division, assisting with research projects, plans, and policy implementations. Calesia Anderson is an undergraduate studying civil engineering who assists with phone calls, customer service, clerical work, and document preparation for Planning Commission meetings. Aspen Nero is a graduate student studying urban planning who has gained experience in field surveys, data collection, web design, and updating the GIS database as an intern.

Has worked as a public policy lecturer assistant at Brawijaya University since 2011, Researcher at Avemedia Reserach and public policy trainer at Averroes Community, Institute of Education Development, Social, Religious and Cultural Studies (Infest Yogya), Center for Security and Welfare Studies (CSWS), and Center For Indonesian Policy Analysis (CIPA).

1. About our Interns
Antonio Carriere is a graduate student at Southern University and A&M College. He is working on
his Master’s degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in Public Policy, taking place in the
Mandela School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs.
As an intern for the City Parish Planning Commission, Antonio works in the Advance Planning Division,
providing support and assisting staff in collecting and preparing data for various planning research
projects. Antonio assists with the preparation and the review of detailing plans for various projects, policy
implementations, and programs.
Calesia Anderson is an undergraduate student at Southern University and A&M College. She is currently
within her junior year, pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
With being an intern for the City Parish-Planning Commission, Calesia assists with answering and
directing phone calls, providing excellent customer service to patrons, assists staff with clerical functions
such as data entry, file management, scanning of imperative documents, and the preparation of documents
that are to be presented at the Planning Commission meetings.
Aspen Nero is a graduate student, attending the University of New Orleans. She is working on
her Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning.
While she has been with the City Parish Planning Commission, as an intern, Aspen has gained
much experience in field survey techniques and procedures, data collection, web design, and has
worked diligently towards updating and maintaining the Parishwide Geographic Information
System database. Aspen has developed an integral role in the GIS data development and
maintenance.
