2. INTRODUCTION
• WHAT IS INSURANCE?
>A contract in which an individual or entity pays an insuarance company in exchange for financial
protection or reimbursement of losses resulting from a covered event.

3. OBJECTIVE OF INSURANCE PROJECT
• The project will check whether a person is eligible for insurance or not.
• Following questions will be asked for person :
1. Enter Name:
2. Enter Age:
3. Enter Gender(Male/Female):
4. Indian Citizen(Yes/No):
5. Medical Fit(Yes/No):
6. If person is fit and between 25 to 45 years of age, Indian male citizen then premium is Rs. 4K/month and policy amount is 5 lakh.
7. If person satisfies above conditions expect that the person is female the premium is Rs. 3k per month and policy amount is 3
lakh.
8. If the person is not fir, age between 25 to 45, Indian citizen premium is 2k per month and policy amount is 2 lakh.
9. In all other cases person is insured.

4. APPLICATION OF INSURANCE PROJECT
• The project helps to display the policy amount and premium for the person is eligible or not.
• If not, a proper error message is displayed.
• Also, the program asks the user whether to continue with another person or not.
• It does not occupy much time and avoids chaotic situations.

5. SOFTWARE USED TO MAKE THIS PROJECT
• Visual studio code software is used to make this project
• This software is very easy to use and have many function

6. CONCEPT USE TO MAKE THIS PROJECT
• If else condition is used for check the condition of an enter customer
information
• Do while loop use for if person want to continue whith another then it uses
if person type yes then it runs again and if person type no then program is
terminated.do while loops works like first do then check condition .firstly
execute what we write and then check condition if condition is true then it
runs again if false the program is terminated.
• String function is used in this projects like strlwr for lower the enter
character, strcmp is used for comparision between two string, puts
function is used to prints the question which is asked for user, gets function
is used to enter the values by the user, array is also use

7. WORKING OF CODE
1. First it will ask some question to user
Following question is asked through user:
a) Name of the user
b) Age of user
c) Gender of user
d) Is user is from an india or not
e) Is user is medical fit or not
2. Some criteria is given for insured condition if it meet the condition then person is
insured. if not then it display error and tell the user to enter valid information
3.If person is insured then proper message display according to their enter information
insurance premium and their policy amount
4.After person is insured or not program is still running and ask with user do you want to
continue again or not.
