Instructional Guide for Setting up Undergraduate Application
1. SET UP YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION ACCOUNT
(Please have citizen information available: e.g., Social Security Number, Permanent Resident Number, etc.)
Once selected it may ask for additional information.
Non-US Citizen does not require any additional information.
PART 1 Contact Information
Permanent Resident
US Citizen
Step 1: Go to www.wou.edu/
apply and click on New under-
graduate (New applicants only)
Step 2: Enter your legal name.
First, Middle and Last. There is
also a section for preferred name.
Step 3: Select Ciitizenship Status.
There are three choices. US Citizen,
Permanent Resident and Non-US
Citizen.
Step 4: Enter a valid e-
mail that you will check
regularly.
2. PART 2 Login Information
Both your username and password must be at least 5 characters long
and case sensitive.

Step 5: Select your en-
trance term. When would
you like to start at WOU?
Step 6: Choose a login name.
Create this yourself. You will want
to choose a login name that you
will remember.
Step 7: Create your password.
Please make sure it is something
you will remember. You will need
to enter it twice.
Step 8: Create security question
for retrieval purposes. If you ev-
er forget your login credentials
you will use this to retrieve them.
Step 9: Completion. Click on
Create New Account. Once you
do this, you will be ready to
begin the online Undergraduate
Application for Admission.
