Op 23 oktober presenteerde wij de VLC Butterfly+ met als onderdeel de technische veranderingen voor de moderatoren en managers en het nieuwe onderdeel Rapport Virtuele Onderwijstijd
The reading sessions in Grade 4S follow a structured format consisting of teacher read aloud, independent reading, teacher-student conferences, small strategy groups, and reflection time. During independent reading, students select texts based on their level and use tools like sticky notes and reading logs. Goals are set for improving comprehension, accuracy, fluency, and vocabulary. Strategies are taught and reinforced in whole group, small groups, and conferences to help students meet their individual goals. Reciprocal teaching allows students to take turns leading discussions of passages by predicting, questioning, clarifying and summarizing.
The document evaluates progress made since the 2012 improvement plan. It summarizes that:
1) Children in early years education have exceeded national averages in assessments and entered Key Stage 1 at expected levels.
2) Attainment has risen by 2 sublevels in English and Math in Key Stage 1 since 2012.
3) A £40,000 investment in information technology infrastructure and desktop computers has led to improved access to technology across the curriculum.

Paddock Elementary School has developed a school improvement plan for 2011-2012 to improve student performance in math, reading, and writing. The plan was created through analyzing data from standardized tests to identify weaknesses in math computation skills among first and second grade students. The school's math goal is to improve basic addition and subtraction facts through daily mental math practice, weekly computation games, a family math night, and online resources. The improvement plan process aims to create a collaborative culture of continuous growth through research-based programs and professional development.

Developing Student Reading Skills Proposal Amal AlWazir
I am sorry to bother you, I know how you are busy. I have attached the developing reading skills presentation and proposal updated. Please let me know if you have any comments..
The document provides a summary of an assessment conducted at GOCERLER PRIMARY SCHOOL in Antalya, Turkey as part of a school improvement plan developed in collaboration with METU SCC. The assessment examined student learning needs and strengths, as well as the school's organizational capacity. It identified weaknesses in reading, writing, and math skills based on grade data and input from stakeholders. It also found the assessment and instructional practices did not fully align with constructivist learning, and the school culture did not strongly support professional development. The plan aimed to address low student achievement and build the school's capacity for sustained improvement over four years.
1) School improvement planning is a process where a school community evaluates past performance and develops a written plan to improve student achievement.
2) A school improvement plan establishes goals and strategies over 3 years to achieve the school's vision and address needs identified through data analysis.
3) Developing a school improvement plan involves collecting data, setting goals and strategies with input from teachers, parents, students, and community members.

7. RAPPORT VIRTUELE ONDERWIJSTIJD
• Vraagstelling
• Onderwijstijd = contact van docenten met studenten binnen één lokaal
• Contact docenten en studenten in een virtueel klaslokaal = ook
onderwijstijd?
• Doelstelling
• Virtuele onderwijstijd inzichtelijk maken…
• …zodat dit kan dienen als bewijslast voor onderwijsinspectie
8. RAPPORT VIRTUELE ONDERWIJSTIJD
Virtuele Onderwijstijd verdeeld over:
• begeleide onderwijstijd (studenten en docenten tegelijkertijd ingelogd)
• niet-begeleide onderwijstijd (docenten niet ingelogd)
10. RAPPORT VIRTUELE ONDERWIJSTIJD
Voorbeeld
