The Coastal Savannah Writing Project is hosting nationally renowned writer and teacher Barry Lane for a workshop event on February 2, 2013. Participants can choose from one-hour breakout sessions on topics related to teaching writing such as using mentor texts, two-voice poetry, wordless picture books, personification, argument writing, research skills, speechwriting, and writing for reluctant writers. The day will include breakfast, book sales and signings, and breakout sessions from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Armstrong Center.
