The document summarizes research on title sequences for three horror films: The Conjuring, Evil Dead, and Sweeney Todd. It finds that the number of titles in each film's opening falls between 20-30, allowing time to credit the most important contributors while keeping the opening brief. It also notes that the types of jobs credited, such as actors, directors, producers, editors, are consistent across the three films researched. The work will use these findings to design professional title sequences that resemble those typically used in the film industry.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

51. The titles and job roles
From the three horror/thriller movies opening sequences I have watched I
have gathered that the number of film titles vary between the number 20 to
30 staying in that range. This is probably because it allows for the most
important people to be mentioned first and for a shorter opening sequence
so the audience are allowed to get straight into the movie. If they mentioned
everyone that helped during the making of the film it would take more than
the couple of minutes that is reserved for the opening credits.
The variety of jobs that are used are nearly all the same in each opening
sequence. The actors and actresses, the directors, the producers, the editors,
the sound/music people, costume and makeup design, the writers, who did
the casting, who did the photography, etc. In each of the three movie
opening credits they all fall along the same line.
My work will strictly adhere to the findings I have gathered from this research
so it will be professional and more like the openings they have today in the
film industry.
