A Journey Towards Excellence
About our Trust:
Shree Mahavir Education Society was established in 1996 as one of the leader in Technical
Education in the rural area. The trust was started with a clear objective of providing high
class education system in rural area and to give employment fillip to the women of rural
area through need based education.
Mr. Harish Sanghavi started its rapid growth and began to play key role to meet diversified
educational needs of rural people in Maharastra particularly in Dindori District of Nashik.
Our organization is non-profit, educational charitable trust with the aim of imparting quality
education to rural area by self-financing. Our organization has superior human resources,
superb infrastructure, conductive working environment as well as inherent strength.
Mr. Harish Sanghavi started multiple Education Institutes in rural part of Nashik district
especially Dindori. He started the Institute of Technology Polytechnic, Nashik in Varvandi
Village in the year 1999. The College is recognized by All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE) & Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) & Affiliated to Maharashtra
State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE).
Shree Mahavir Institute of Pharmacy, Nashik was established in the academic year 2003-
2004. The College is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical
Education (MSBTE) & Pharmacy Council of India ( PCI ).
After successfully running these two Institutes, we thought to have a Degree college and
this became true in 2012, when we established an Engineering College named as Sanghavi
College of Engineering in the same campus which is also recognized by All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE) , Directorate of Technical Education ( DTE ) and is Affiliated to
the Savitribai Phule Pune University .
The Management’s commitment to excellence and relevance in technical education is
reflected in the marvelous infrastructure with up-to-date laboratories, sophisticated
equipments, good infrastructure and excellent working atmosphere in 27.5 Acres of Land at
Varvandi in Clean & Pollution free environment.
Chairman’s Message
“Education is the soul of society as it passes from one generation to another”
H L Sanghavi
Years ago when I visited a school, I perceived that the best way to advance society is by
fostering education and it was at that movement that the dream and vision was conceived.
“Vision looks inward and becomes duty. Vision looks outward and becomes aspiration.
Vision looks upward and becomes faith”.
Now, when this vision of duty, aspiration and faith has become a reality , it is proud
movement for me and my team to see thousands of students pursuing higher education in
SMES Group of Colleges and equipping themselves to become industry ready professionals
for successful careers. In this process the Group intends to unite all dimensions of Education
from Diploma to Graduate Programmes in Engineering and Technology and Pharmacy under
the same umbrella in order to comprehensively and collectively optimize the reach of
Educational initiatives in every strata and corner of society towards better future.
Our educational initiatives believes that creating an academic foundation for social , cultural
scientific , economic and technological development in our nation can mature in to Global
Interface by giving way to education exchange in International territory as well. Therefore ,
our focus is to achieve unparalleled excellence that will bring development to our society
and mankind by optimizing their potential .
So , Shree Mahavir Education Society is contributing in a process of rural transformation,
higher levels of education among the farmers and availability of off farm jobs.

Principal’s Message
It is extremely difficult to achieve and maintain top positions in the field of Engineering &
Technology in the professional and highly competitive world of today. The Staff members
and students of this college have worked very hard to excel in every field and need no
verbose to enlist their achievements in academics, sports and extracurricular activities. Our
college makes a lot of efforts for the overall personality development of the students. Ours
is a co-educational college with an increasing number of girl students getting admitted every
year. We strongly trust in human values and our commitment to the Nation and human
society. The Institutions of higher education will be better on if they prepare in time to use
technology for reopening as well as multiplying the learning opportunities for students.
My sincere thanks are due to all the staff members and students of this college for their
excellent support and co-operation in every field to maintain the leading position of this
college among the Polytechnics of Nashik.
It is matter of great pride that the college has made consistent progress year on year, in
academic and co-curricular activities.
Challenges and opportunities are two sides of the same coin.
Overall development of the individual is the goal of education and we all have to ensure that
there is no stone left unturned to equip the student of today for challenges of life . This will
require tremendous self-motivation on the part of all concerned but will be fulfilling for the
student as well as faculty. I wish all the best for future.

Pharmacy profession is a noble profession and the pharmacist plays a vital role in health
care system. During last few decades pharma industry underwent different transformations
due to liberalization and globalization which led to severe competitions among the pharma
companies.
The Indian pharma industry not only proved their ability but also achieved new heights. The
present Indian pharma industrialists are good global competitors in exporting quality drugs
and they would be global leaders in coming decades.
The present success of Indian pharma industry and advancement of pharmaceutical
technology attracting many multinational giants to work with Indian companies in new
areas like clinical trials, contract research and development etc. Hence, there will be huge
demand for the pharmacy professionals in the areas like research, teaching, hospitals and

  • 3. Chairman’s Message “Education is the soul of society as it passes from one generation to another” H L Sanghavi Years ago when I visited a school, I perceived that the best way to advance society is by fostering education and it was at that movement that the dream and vision was conceived. “Vision looks inward and becomes duty. Vision looks outward and becomes aspiration. Vision looks upward and becomes faith”. Now, when this vision of duty, aspiration and faith has become a reality , it is proud movement for me and my team to see thousands of students pursuing higher education in SMES Group of Colleges and equipping themselves to become industry ready professionals for successful careers. In this process the Group intends to unite all dimensions of Education from Diploma to Graduate Programmes in Engineering and Technology and Pharmacy under the same umbrella in order to comprehensively and collectively optimize the reach of Educational initiatives in every strata and corner of society towards better future. Our educational initiatives believes that creating an academic foundation for social , cultural scientific , economic and technological development in our nation can mature in to Global Interface by giving way to education exchange in International territory as well. Therefore , our focus is to achieve unparalleled excellence that will bring development to our society and mankind by optimizing their potential . So , Shree Mahavir Education Society is contributing in a process of rural transformation, higher levels of education among the farmers and availability of off farm jobs. Harish L.
