NCSU Survey taken in 2009 states that 95.1% of CED graduates were working/grad school within the 1 st year after graduation; 77.6% working/grad school within 0-6 months; NCDPI Survey of 2009 NCSU CED graduates notes 65% employed within a year (Based on the same NCSU survey) 91.2% of CED graduates were still employed as of 2009 NC State Superintendent of Public Instruction June Atkinson, former NC State Superintendent of Public Instruction Mike Ward, and former US Assistant Secretary of Education and Mississippi State Superintendent of Schools Henry Johnson are College of Education Ed.D. graduates, as are numerous Community College Presidents in NC and elsewhere General College Statistics: 159 total freshman students 129 females, 30 males Average weighted GPA: 4.21 41% Graduated in top 10% of class Average SAT Score (Math/Verbal) – 1157 States represented: 8 High Schools represented: 116
