This document describes the composition of two types of zinc-based anti-corrosion pastes. A type-1 stick configuration contains 87% zinc oxide and 13% fixed vegetable or mineral oil. A type-1 cake configuration uses the same base paste but also includes an accelerator paste of 13% oil of cloves, 50% gum or polymerized rosin, 20% silica filler, 3% lanolin, 10% resinous balsam, and 5% accelerator and color.
