1) A design for change contest was held by students at GPS Subzimandi-2 school in Asif Nagar to raise awareness about viral diseases. 2) The contest involved 5 students - Arun Kumar, Mamatha, Hanumanthu, Tharun, and Ganesh - who were motivated to educate the community after reading about health issues in the newspaper. 3) The students discussed ways to educate the local community about preventing diseases like malaria and dengue by not allowing stagnant water to collect and keeping their surroundings clean.

GPS SUBZIMANDI-2 (Asif Nagar - I)
The Design for change contest Activity was done by the children in GPS
Subzimandi-2 Asif Nagar. It was an idea of the children to motivate towards Awareness
about viral diseases .The children who were participated in the programme are:
1. Arun kumar 5th class
2. Mamatha 5th class
3. Hanumanthu 5th class
4. Tharun 4th class
5. Ganesh 4th Class
FEEL: Present time in twin city areas is very dirty & polluted. This Weather is create many
problems health sickness, many peoples sick almost in every family, Children & elder peoples
death some time. Subjimandi II school students have read one day a news paper for diseases &
uncleanness & they are very disappointed, so the students have decided school surrounding
areas to explain peoples & parents about diseases & awareness, firstly they are ask to the
teacher for help to awareness to educate this problems to parents & people of viral diseases.
Teacher explain to the fallowing things.
1)For malaria : Do not stock the water in front of houses and nearby also, if water stocking
mosquito developed.
2)For Dengue : Do not stock dirty things in side the home, surrounding areas and drainage
water should not stock for this also developed the malaria as well as dengue for this it cause
death also some time.
IMAGINE: Children have discussed to awere in community of health & hygene. They thought
how to awere people about bad weather harm to people.
DO: The children are commobined together and discussed about the advantages of Awareness
about viral diseases and there start the program at a time.

2. SHARE: The children had shared with all students and than discussed with the teacher about
there feelings responsibility.
Child reading health news in news-paper. Children thinking about health-hygene.
Children taking the teacher help. Children participate in health rally.
