Shikshayatan was established in 2001 with the objective of providing primary education to deprived children to make them self-sufficient. It is led by Menka Sinha and Sujata Kumari. Education is now as important as food, clothing, and shelter for human development. However, poverty prevents many illiterate people from accessing education due to high costs. Shikshayatan aims to provide free education to the poorest children, including Rajkumar, Arjun Kumar Sah, Vikas Kumar, Manish, and Nitesh. SHIKSHYATA--- COMBAT AGAINST ILITRACY INTROUDCTION--- Shikshyatan, a society registerd under the Registration of societies act,was established in the yesr2001 with the objective,inter alia, of imparting primery education to the children of deprive lot in order to make them self sufficient to earn their livelihood. SHIKSHYATAN a registered society is, striving for achievements of its objective under the able leadership of Ms Menka Sinha and mentor Ms Sujata Kumari Gone are the days when only food,cloths and dwelling were considered us the basic need of human being.Today education is as important as the afor said three things.Now in the changed world scenario education is a tool to achieve even the aforsaid three basic need of human being poverty, no doubt, is the greatest impediment in elimenting illitracy in our society.its not that the illitrate people do not understand the importance of education. It is poverty which p Prevents them coming forward to becomeeducated or litrate.the sky reckong price of education is the biggest hurdle in the way of desirous poor people to come and be transformed as educated/litrate. Shikshayatan has taken this challenge of imparting free education to the poor deprived people of our socity. Shikshayatan has selected the poorest of the poor,to name a few amongst them are 1. Rajkumar 2.Arjun kumar sah 3.Vikas kumar 4 Manish and5.Nitesh.

3. The young population of India, largest in nomber, is the force to be reckoned with. This force canbebest utilized only when illiteracy amongst them is eradicated and they are imparted education so as to make them stand in the main stram of society.this can not be done only by making Right to Education as Fundamental Right,people andorganisation shall has to come forward to make the youth and members of public aware of the value and importance of education and make arrangement to to impart free educationto them.the ambitious plane and schemes of the government like Serve Shiksha Abhiyan has to be implemented with all the potential and in cordination with the state machinary and ensure that the benefits of such shemes reaches to the right person We have school to carry out our objective, however with heaps of garbage around, unfortunate!! All our efforts to make the schools clean failed .Leaflets, handbills requesting the people not to dump garbage around the school premise did not work.Even the educated people,so called responsible person, did not bother to our calls.still we are strugglingto make the schools,both in and around clean so as to impart free education to the poor and dep[rived in a Cleanand pure atmosphere. The lukewarm and lackluster attitude of the people is an impediment to the movement for cleaniness,perticularly in and around schools.

4. Need of the hour is parity of ideas insofar cleaniness of ones own house and other public places. Perticularly school are concerned. One should think about cleaniness and decoration of the public places in the same waythey think about their own house. We must not forget our largest social responsibility We call upon the peopleto come forward to resolve this underlying social problem.take this part of there duty. We have taken this as a challenge. We should make the people aware so that they join us in our movement for free education to the children of the poor and deprived strata of the society in clean and pure surroundings we have planed to organize seminar interactive session, personal contact programmeS To make the people aware of the grave situation around us and need to eradicate the same.
