3. —INCEST
According to Google, sexual relations
between people are classed as being too
closely related to marrying each other. The
crime of having sexual intercourse with a
parent, child, sibling, or grandchild.
4. —INCEST
In addition, It is defined as the sexual
activity between individuals who are
genetically related. Moreover, Incest is
considered a taboo sexual activity. Incest
is derived from the Latin word incestuous
which means unchaste. It is defined as
“any sexual activity between close blood
relatives who are forbidden by law to
marry” (Kellogg 2005).
5. Examples of Incest are the following:
Example 2
Father having sexual
intercourse with his
daughter
Example 1
Siblings of different sex
are having intercourse.
Example 3
Mother having sexual
intercourse with her
son.
Note: It is also called Incest when both relatives is having the same sex yet different gender orientations when they engage with
sexual intercourse.
6. What is the moral
issue of the topic?
Incest is unethical, according to the genetics argument, since it may
result in the creation of a genetically defective child. Clearly, this
reasoning only applies to a very specific type of incest, namely
vaginal intercourse between fertile partners of the opposite sex
without adequate contraception.
7. Therefore, the issue
is close relative
family members is
engaging with
sexual intercourse
Incest is declared a “prohibited
degree” of relationship since
the Biblical period. Incest is
discouraged and forbidden.
8. What is the position of
the church on your
given topic?
Priests and bishops, as well as Christians themselves, are against
incest in the Roman Catholic Church. In the ninth century, the
Catholic Church outlawed incest and enacted regulations that made
it illegal for relatives to do so. Following the commandments written
in verses Leviticus 18:7–18 and 20:11–21 and as well as in the book
of Deuteronomy.
9. —TRIVIA: INCEST
Meanwhile, in ancient
times in Greece, Athens.
Following the confusing
family tree of Zeus, God of
thunder, and his brothers.
It is obvious that there are
inevitable cases of incest
in Greek mythology.
10. What is your own position on
the topic given? Is it
acceptable? Is it natural? Is it
sinful?
11. As a human being surrounded by the majority of Christians and having grown up in a
Christian home, my position would be similar to the beliefs of the church to which I
belong. I am opposed to incest. Why? In general, I consider incest to be sinful and
filthy. There would be a blast of chilly air, and my blood would run cold, knowing
that this is something that some people do. Because of the taboo, many cases of
incest go unnoticed. It's upsetting, just like any other sexual crime. One of my
beliefs on this subject is that those who do such acts are spiritually deficient as
well as academically lacking.
12. Do you know of someone who
is engage or involve or
becomes victim of the topic?
What motivates them to do
so?
14. This is the story of a girl named Elizabeth Fritzl
18 who was locked up by his own father in the
basement in 1984 August for 24 years. He will
physically violate Elizabeth. He also started
rapping her very soon after she was arrested.
He restrained her mobility with chains and
cuffs and had intercourse with her against
her will hundreds of times over the course of
two decades which results in her having 7
children.
The father who hides his daughter in the basement
for 24 years.
15. Some of these motives, such as intense fear
about the outside world and a sectarian
religious worldview, do not apply to Fritzl.
According to Finkelhor, Josef Fritzl was most
likely driven by a desire to impose "sexual
slavery...where somebody is truly yearning for
sexual fulfillment on a daily basis and is not
going to be able to receive it in a typical
consenting fashion."
What motivates Josef Fritzl’s crime?

16. Do you find the position of
the church acceptable? Or
not? Why?
Yes, the church's anti-incest stance is effective in preventing sexual
interactions among close relatives' families. This also prohibits the
perpetrator from causing harm to his or her family as a result of what
we term a person's inner Christianity. The terror of God. However,
my deeper reasoning concerning the church's status gives the doer
another alternative. That is, he intends to damage those outsides of
his own group. Neighbors, friends, and so forth. However, it is not
the church's responsibility. In fact, it is entirely up to the doers. The
agency that he/she has will always drive them insane when it comes
to sex.
18. There are a few possible pieces of advice that I can grant
my “friend” and that I advice is an advice of a friend. I
would counsel him/her that his/her doing is extremely bad
biblically and socially. Many will persecute him/her know
that they are doing the things that are considered
forbidden. I would like to invite him/her to our church,
police station, and maybe school and refer him/her to a
person who can help us address the abnormality. Might
also state some reasons why it is bad and the
consequence of doing so.
