I analyze them with results from the research field "evolution of cooperation". Advantages and disadvantages of existing systems lead to ideas for improvements.

Rather than leaving these tools as one-off scripts, the presenter advocates releasing them on platforms like Gephi that make the tools cross-platform, easy to install, and discoverable by a wide audience. This increases the likelihood the tools will be reused by others to support analysis in similar projects.

Every community manager knows that community metrics are important, but how do you come up with a plan and figure out what you want to measure? Most community managers have their own set of hacky scripts for extracting data from various sources after they decide what metrics to track. There is no standardised Community Software Dashboard you can use to generate near-real-time stats on your community growth.
Like most open source projects, we have diverse community infrastructure for MeeGo, including Mailman, Drupal, Mediawiki, IRC, git, OpenSuse Build Service, Transifex and vBulletin. We wanted to unify these sources together, extract meaningful statistics from the data we had available to us, and present it to the user in a way that made it easy to see if the community was developing nicely or not.
Building on the work of Pentaho, Talend, MLStats, gitdm and a host of others, we built a generic and open source community dashboard for the MeeGo project, and integrated it into the website. The project was run in the open at http://wiki.meego.com/Metrics/Dashboard and all products of the project are available for reuse.

Humanities Crowdsourcing on the Zooniverse Platform
Zooniverse (https://www.zooniverse.org/) is a world-leading academic crowdsourcing organization based at the University of Oxford, the Adler Planetarium and the University of Minnesota. This talk will provide an overview of the types of metadata extraction and full text transcription projects and tools that are currently available on the platform. It will give an overview of the design and lessons learned from projects such as Operation War Diary, Science Gossip, Shakespeare’s World and Measuring the ANZACs, and suggest ways in which crowdsourced data can be used in the humanities. The talk will also provide an overview of the free Project Builder (https://www.zooniverse.org/lab), where anyone with an internet connection can create their own project and obtain their own data.

Factors affecting undergraduate students’ motivation at a university in Tra Vinh
ABSTRACT: Motivation plays an important role in foreign language learning process. This study aimed to
investigate student’s motivation patterns towards English language learning at a University in Tra Vinh, and factors
affecting their motivation change toward English language learning of non-English-major students in the semester.
The researcher used semi-structured interview at the first phase of choosing the participants and writing reflection
through the instrument called “My English Learning Motivation History” adapted from Sawyer (2007) to collect
qualitative data within 15 weeks. The participants consisted of nine first year non-English-major students who learning
General English at pre-intermediate level. They were chosen and divided into three groups of three members each
(high motivation group; average motivation group; and low motivation group). The results of the present study
identified six visual motivation patterns of three groups of students with different motivation fluctuation, through the
use of cluster analysis. The study also indicated a diversity of factors affecting students’ motivation involving internal
factors as influencing factors (cognitive, psychology, and emotion) and external factors as social factors (instructor,
peers, family, and learning environment) during English language learning in a period of 15 weeks. The findings of
the study helped teacher understand relationship of motivation change and its influential factors. Furthermore, the
findings also inspired next research about motivation development in learning English process.

Developing the XWiki Software @ Open Source Iași 2014

NESSHI and GEPHI: sociology of science as a breeding ground for tool building...
NESSHI was a project that studied the neuro-turn in social sciences and humanities. As part of the project, the presenter developed several data analysis tools to help with tasks like annotating images, sorting lists alphabetically, overlaying bibliographic maps, and creating networks based on text co-occurrences. Rather than leaving these tools as one-off scripts, the presenter advocates releasing them on platforms like Gephi that make the tools cross-platform, easy to install, and discoverable by a wide audience. This increases the likelihood the tools will be reused by others to support analysis in similar projects.
An Open Source Approach to Collaboration
How does open source software happen? What can we learn from it for cross-organizational collaboration? In this presentation, ifPeople cofounders Tirza Hollenhorst and Christopher Johnson talk about what open source is, the process by which it is created through a voluntary community, and a concrete process that can be used in any project (even non-software projects) to "social source" the project.

Crunching the numbers: Open Source Community Metrics at OSCON

Every community manager knows that community metrics are important, but how do you come up with a plan and figure out what you want to measure? Most community managers have their own set of hacky scripts for extracting data from various sources after they decide what metrics to track. There is no standardised Community Software Dashboard you can use to generate near-real-time stats on your community growth.
Like most open source projects, we have diverse community infrastructure for MeeGo, including Mailman, Drupal, Mediawiki, IRC, git, OpenSuse Build Service, Transifex and vBulletin. We wanted to unify these sources together, extract meaningful statistics from the data we had available to us, and present it to the user in a way that made it easy to see if the community was developing nicely or not.
Building on the work of Pentaho, Talend, MLStats, gitdm and a host of others, we built a generic and open source community dashboard for the MeeGo project, and integrated it into the website. The project was run in the open at http://wiki.meego.com/Metrics/Dashboard and all products of the project are available for reuse.

Humanities Crowdsourcing on the Zooniverse Platform
Zooniverse (https://www.zooniverse.org/) is a world-leading academic crowdsourcing organization based at the University of Oxford, the Adler Planetarium and the University of Minnesota. This talk will provide an overview of the types of metadata extraction and full text transcription projects and tools that are currently available on the platform. It will give an overview of the design and lessons learned from projects such as Operation War Diary, Science Gossip, Shakespeare’s World and Measuring the ANZACs, and suggest ways in which crowdsourced data can be used in the humanities. The talk will also provide an overview of the free Project Builder (https://www.zooniverse.org/lab), where anyone with an internet connection can create their own project and obtain their own data.

ABSTRACT :This research aims to analyze the correlation between employee work stress and digital literacy
with employee performance at PT Telkom Akses Area Cirebon, both concurrently and partially. Employing a
quantitative approach, the study's objectives are descriptive and causal, adopting a positivist paradigm with a
deductive approach to theory development and a survey research strategy. Findings reveal that work stress
negatively and significantly impacts employee performance, while digital literacy positively and significantly
affects it. Simultaneously, work stress and digital literacy have a positive and significant influence on employee
performance. It is anticipated that company management will devise workload management strategies to
alleviate work stress and assess the implementation of more efficient digital technology to enhance employee
performance.

Factors affecting undergraduate students’ motivation at a university in Tra Vinh
ABSTRACT: Motivation plays an important role in foreign language learning process. This study aimed to
investigate student’s motivation patterns towards English language learning at a University in Tra Vinh, and factors
affecting their motivation change toward English language learning of non-English-major students in the semester.
The researcher used semi-structured interview at the first phase of choosing the participants and writing reflection
through the instrument called “My English Learning Motivation History” adapted from Sawyer (2007) to collect
qualitative data within 15 weeks. The participants consisted of nine first year non-English-major students who learning
General English at pre-intermediate level. They were chosen and divided into three groups of three members each
(high motivation group; average motivation group; and low motivation group). The results of the present study
identified six visual motivation patterns of three groups of students with different motivation fluctuation, through the
use of cluster analysis. The study also indicated a diversity of factors affecting students’ motivation involving internal
factors as influencing factors (cognitive, psychology, and emotion) and external factors as social factors (instructor,
peers, family, and learning environment) during English language learning in a period of 15 weeks. The findings of
the study helped teacher understand relationship of motivation change and its influential factors. Furthermore, the
findings also inspired next research about motivation development in learning English process.
