4. What is a scientific article?
It is the first disclosure of the results of scientific research, therefore, it is
a primary and original publication.
It is a written document that must meet strict criteria established by the
Scientific Journal before it is published.
It contains all the information of experiments which will allow other
researchers to evaluate the process developed and repeat experiments
It must be in full text available throughout the international scientific
community.

5. What a researcher is looking for when he presents a research
paper to a scientific journal?
He expects the research will be
accepted for evaluation and will be
published.
Professional recognition for the author
when his research is referenced by other
researchers.
! More monetary funds for
research!

6. What a university expects in the field of scientific
publishing?
That their teachers and researchers publish as many articles in
indexed journals.
That the college name appears on the institutional affiliation of
the authors of manuscripts published.
That the manuscript be referenced by other researchers.
Recognition and visibility to the University !!!

7. Why do we publish a scientific paper?
The publication of a scientific article contributes to the development of
society and other researchers shorten their time research.
A scientist is not renowned for making a discovery but it is when he
discloses a recognized source of information in the shortest possible
time, which is possible by publishing the results of their research in an
appropriate way, in a scientific journal.
Universities are institutions with higher productivity of scientific
knowledge, and it is necessary that these results are disseminated
outside the university and the best option is published in a scientific
journal that is indexed.
When publishing research articles, the strength of a university is shown
in research, allowing aside a fund for the promotion of research.
