This document provides an overview of key concepts in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) including the ubiquitous language, bounded contexts, value objects, entities, repositories, collections, mappers, identity maps, units of work, and services. It explains that DDD is a set of principles and patterns that help developers create elegant systems by focusing on the core domain and language of the business. It also emphasizes separating business processes into bounded contexts and using ubiquitous language consistently throughout the code.
An Introduction to Domain Driven Design in PHPChris Renner
We use PHP to solve problems. But as software projects grow and the business needs increase, how do we manage the complexity and still produce readable and maintainable code? Domain Driven Design is a set of concepts and practices that, when applied appropriately, help us manage complexity in large scale projects. In this talk, we will explore the broad points of DDD. I’ll also share tips, patterns and lessons-learned gained from my experiences building PHP software for complicated business processes.

GraphQL is a query language for APIs and a runtime for fulfilling those queries. It gives clients the power to ask for exactly what they need, which makes it a great fit for modern web and mobile apps. In this talk, we explain why GraphQL was created, introduce you to the syntax and behavior, and then show how to use it to build powerful APIs for your data. We will also introduce you to AWS AppSync, a GraphQL-powered serverless backend for apps, which you can use to host GraphQL APIs and also add real-time and offline capabilities to your web and mobile apps. You can follow along if you have an AWS account – no GraphQL experience required!

Architecting Multitenant SaaS Applications with Azure - Microsoft Ignite The ...Eran Stiller
Multitenancy is a software architecture pattern in which a single instance of software serves multiple groups of users (known as tenants or organizations). Many modern SaaS applications use this pattern to serve their customers with maximum efficiency while maintaining operational costs low. But how do you build a multitenant application right? How do you secure one tenant's information from another tenant's users? How do you keep operational costs low? How do you monitor and manage this stuff?
In this session you will gain architecture practices for architecting multitenant SaaS applications, learnt from migrating real applications to the cloud so that you won't have to learn them the hard way, with implementation tips and tricks on Azure.
“Program to an interface, not an implementation” they[1] say …
But when IMyInterface foo = new IMyInterface() is not valid code … how are you supposed to achieve that ? The answer is Dependency Injection.
In this talk, we’ll talk about Dependency injection, what it is and what it is not. We’ll see how it is a valuable set of practices and patterns that help design maintainable software built on top of the SOLID object-oriented principles.
We’ll see how, when used properly, it delivers many benefits such as extensibility and testability … We’ll also cover some anti-patterns, ways of using Dependency Injection that can lead to code that is painful to understand and maintain
This talk is not about DI/IOC containers per se, but focuses on the core concepts of Dependency Injection. Those concepts are essential to understand how to use those “magic-looking” tools (if they are needed at all …)
This talk is not only for .NET developers. It will contain code examples written in C#, but should be understandable by developers with knowledge in other statically-typed object-oriented languages such as Java, Vb.NET, C++ …
This presentation shows what are JSON Web Tokens, explaining about the structure, signature, encryption and how we can integrate this with Authentication/Authorization together with Spring Security.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
