This document provides information about an IMO Level 2 - On Scene Commander training course taking place from February 8-11, 2015 in Cyprus. The primary role of an On Scene Commander is to coordinate and manage response to an oil spill. The 4-day course will address the demands placed on an OSC during an incident, including developing response strategies. The course is intended for those with incident management responsibilities or who will be involved in coordinating spill response activities, such as shipping and oil industry personnel.
