Un sentier, accessible à tous (y compris les poussettes d’enfants ou les fauteuils roulants) fait le tour de l’île. Côté continent, les vues sur la lagune, le cap Nègre, Bandol et au loin la Sainte-Baume sont magnifiques.
L’arrivée sur la passe entre le Gaou et les Embiez l’est tout autant, et puis, quelques pas plus loin, on est face à la Grande Bleue, la dominant depuis les rochers déchiquetés de cette partie de côte qui font furtivement penser à une côte bretonne, la végétation de pins bruissant de cigales nous rappelant qu’il n’en est rien…
