3. The molecule responsible for the action is lawsone,
otherwise known as Xtonic acid (2-hydroxy-1,4-
naphthoquinone).
The acid in lemon juice serves to destabilize the
plant’s cellulose while allowing the lawsone molecules
to remain intact. The lemon juice attacks the lawsone
molecule to create a unified acidic substance.
Lawsone is a relatively small molecule, migrates to
the site of action quickly and undergoes Michaels’
addition.
Lawsone is found in which commonly used plant
extract?
6. The Five Fists of Science is a graphic novel
showing X, his (real-life) friend MarkTwain
and BerthaVon Stuttner combine forces to
try to bring about world peace through
superior firepower.They are soon confronted
by dark forces led by the dastardlyY (X’s real
life arch rival), John Pierpont Morgan, Andrew
Carnegie and Guglieimo Marconi.The
protagonists are shown on the cover.

76. David Saltzberg is a professor of Physics and
Astronomy at the University of California, Los
Angeles.
Saltzberg earned a bachelor's degree in physics in
1989 from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in physics
from the University of Chicago in 1994. From 1995-97
he worked at CERN in Switzerland.
His research interests include high-energy collider
physics and the radio detection of cosmic neutrinos.
Now, however he does something very different.
What does he do?

78. He is the technical director of The Big Bang
Theory. He writes the formulae and equations
on the whiteboards on the sets.
79. Ammonium ferric citrate and potassium
ferricyanide coated on paper or cloth was
used to reproduce images. The result is a
copy of the original image with a clear
background area rendered dark and the
image itself produced as a white line, making

the document.
Which commonly used word is derived from

82. Later epicondylitis is a condition in which the
outer part of theY becomes sore and tender.
Most of the names for this disease are
misnomers: XY is a misnomer because most
people that get the disease don’t have
anything to do with X and lateral epicondylitis
is a misnomer because the patho-physiology
does not involve inflammation (it is an –osis,
not an –itis).
85. The term originated during the development
of the IBM OS/2 operating system at Lattice
Inc, the makers of earlyWindows & OS/2

screen when the bugs in the OS
software(typically null pointers) slipped

comes as a humorous reference to IBM and
the finality of the error.
