strong productivity focus
and particular topography
with which the
community strongly
identifies (Valleys and
Plains)

o A landscape that has a
high proportion of publicly
managed land for reserve
and resource purposes

7. Identity - Alpine
o A landscape that has a
high biodiversity, tourism
and water yielding
characteristics

The 5 key landscapes have particular characteristics,
identities, functions, dynamics and community
aspirations that will help determine natural resource
management (NRM) actions and directions.
