1. Idea development for my location 1 – Sawley gravel pits.
To help convey my genre of a psychological thriller i would like my opening
sequence to instantly give of a feel of mystery and tension to the audience. I
would like to achieve this by adding a time strain in my opening which is common
in psych thrillers.
Time strain ideas:
- The quarry is being drained and there is a body in there which has previously
been thrown in. time strain=recover body before it is discovered.
- could film the body being thrown in and do it from the killers point of view
- The quarry is being filled so the killer can dispose of a body In there
- Time strain = dispose of body in the quarry before it is filled.
- There is various missing person reports and a cereal killer on the loose and
detectives think that people are being killed and disposed of In the quarry.
- Time strain= research into the investigations to find the body’s and the killer
before more people are murdered.
- Could film the killer disposing ”body’s” into the quarry then short shots of
investigation work e.g. – finger prints and notes etc
