section of the Andes, are indeed very jagged and remote, a formidable challenge for climbers
and hikers.

These Department of Transportation pictograms seem obvious to us, after long exposure. They are very consistent. However, the designer could have chosen a wide variety of shapes, lines and styles to show the same ideas.
