The IBPS Exams are conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).
The exams are conducted for the recruitment of probationary officers, office
assistants and clerks in public-sector, as well as, regional rural banks such as
Indian Bank, Allahabad Bank, Dena Gujarat Gramin Bank, Punjab National Bank,
Kaveri Gramin Bank, etc.
Following are the most important competitive public exams conducted by IBPS:
IBPS PO (Probationary Officer)
IBPS Clerk
IBPS SO (Specialist Officer)
IBPS RRB (Regional Rural Bank)
These four are the most important posts for which exams were conducted every year
by IBPS.

What is IBPS So Exam?
The exam will be conducted in three phases: Preliminary, Mains and Interview
Process.
A candidate must appear for the Prelims first and the selected students after the
Preliminary Exam will be eligible to give the Mains Exam.
Score of Preliminary Exam will not be taken into consideration for final allotment.
Final selection will be based on the Mains Exam and Interview Process.
The Mains Examination will contain questions only from the Professional
Knowledge Subjects.
