The document discusses how to stay strong when facing troubles and difficulties in life. It provides several biblical examples of people who endured hard times, including Job, Joseph, Moses, Elijah, David, Jeremiah, and Paul. It then offers the following advice: prepare for storms before they come; enjoy good times and be thankful; avoid anxiety and worry by casting cares upon God; and understand that trials have a purpose to help strengthen faith. The overall message is that through faith in God, one can find real solutions and peace during life's troubles.

The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
4. The Bible talks about tribulation in our lives.
Heaven is beautiful, a reality, but hard to enter.
Jesus mentioned that in Matt 7:21.
Jesus mentioned that in Matt 7:13.
" Acts 9:16
6. 3 Ug dili lamang ingon niini, kondili nga nagahimaya usab kita sa atong mga kagul-
anan, sa nahibaloan ta nga ang kagul-anan nagabunga ug kalig-on;
4 Ug ang kalig-on nagabunga sa pagkasinulayan; ug ang pagkasinulayan nagabunga
sa paglaum;
5 Ug ang paglaum dili magapakaulaw; kay ang gugma sa Dios ginabubo sa atong
mga kasingkasing pinaagi sa Espiritu Santo nga gihatag kanato. Romans 5:1-5
1 Busa, sa ginapakamatarung kita tungod sa pagtoo, may
pakigdait kita sa Dios pinaagi sa atong Ginoong
Jesucristo;
2 Nga pinaagi kaniya usab may pultahan kita, tungod sa
pagtoo niini nga gracia nga atong ginabarugan; ug
nagakalipay kita sa paglaum sa himaya sa Dios.

8. • Our days are full of trouble - Job 14:1
• Suffering is a consequence of man’s sin – Gen. 3:19; Rom. 5:12
• We are sojourners, pilgrims through a world of trouble – (the troubles
of this life should prompt us to seek something better) - ; 1 Pet 2:11

Staying Strong
When Things Go
Wrong
Matthew 7:24-27 (NKJV) 24 "Therefore whoever hears these
sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man
who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the
floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it
did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 But everyone who
hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a
foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain
descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on
that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."
Ecclesiastes 5:18 (NKJV) 18 Here is what I
have seen: It is good and fitting for one to
eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all
his labor in which he toils under the sun
all the days of his life which God gives
him; for it is his heritage.
1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV) 13 No temptation
has overtaken you except such as is common
to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow
you to be tempted beyond what you are able,
but with the temptation will also make the way
of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV) 6 Therefore humble yourselves
under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in
due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares
for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your
adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast
in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are
experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
James 1:2-4 2 Mga igsoon ko, isipon
ninyo ingon nga bug-os nga kalipay, sa
mahulog kamo sa mga nagakalainlain nga
pagtintal;
3 Kay hingbaloan, nga ang pagsulay sa
inyong pagtoo, nagabunga ug pagpailub.
4 Ug pasagdi ang pagpailub nga
magahingpit sa iyang buhat, aron
mamahingpit kamo ug managsangkap sa
walay makulang kaninyo.
