India Against Corruption (IAC) is a movement to establish an independent anti-corruption agency in India to investigate and prosecute corruption cases. It is led by activists like Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal who argue that existing agencies are ineffective because they are controlled by the government. The next major event for IAC is Anna Hazare's indefinite fast beginning on April 5th to push for passage of the Jan Lokpal Bill, which would create an independent anti-corruption ombudsman.
