This presentation relates to the Coco De Mer of the Seychelles, the largest nut in the world. The Coco De Mer is the pride and joy of the Seychelles, it's shape is widely used as company logos, jewelry, postage stamps, bank cards and the like. It is an icon which was even used on the immigration stamp when one visits the Seychelles. It was stamped upon arrival and departure in a visitors passport. Now, some clever spark thought they would remove it for reasons unexplained. Where is the 'Uniqueness'?

I primarily grow in the Vallee De Mai on the Island of Praslin. My home is a Unesco World Heritage site. 3. Since I am a protected plant / seed (nut), I am not that readily available, but, I am always recreated in different forms to show my uniqueness as you will see in the photographs to follow. You will see me in all my glory, in my natural state, in gold, in silver, as a visa electron card, as an accessory on some postcards (you will soon know what I am talking about), as logos, as keychains, as an ash tray, as a fridge magnet to name a few. So, all I ask is that you view this presentation with an open mind and an open heart. Please don’t let others tell you what you can and what you can’t do with me for the sake of a few freebies. Have the decency to stand up for me, I represent you; the Seychelles people and our beautiful islands. Bring me back as a passport stamp again so visitors to our lovely shores can show that they have truly visited and been on the shores of Eden.
