2G VS 3G VS 4G 耗電量
理論值:
• 2G->3G->4G BPS/mWatt (單位功耗下的傳輸數量)是增加的(頻
譜效率高)。
• 從這個角度來說,4G是更省電的。
• 3G頻率比2G高,穿透能力差一點,在室內要加大功率。(同理4G
對比3G)
實際值:
• 但依照訊號覆蓋強度,2G往往可以獲得較好的訊號強度,使得發
射功率可能可以低於訊號次強的3G, 4G
2G VS 3G VS 4G 耗電量
• 事實上,3G制式在launch的時候,比2G網絡考慮了更多的功率
控制,就是為了降低手機的耗電。主要有:
• 1、2G GSM採用脈衝波調製,3G採用正弦波調製,
• 2、2G手機在小區裡每次接入網絡都是按照最大功率發送,3G手
機在小區裡接入網絡是按照低功率+步進發送。
• 3、2G手機在小區裡發送功率不受網絡控制,3G手機在小區近點
的地方發送功率會被降低。
• 4、 2G手機不支持DRX(非連續接受功能),3G網絡為了支持
手機節省電引入DRX功能。
2G VS 3G VS 4G 耗電量
• 3G比2G耗電,其實只是一個綜合上的感覺。
• 這種感覺應該來自於:
• 1、智能機上的應用頻繁連接網絡耗電。大部分的3G手機都是智
能機,智能機耗電的一個大頭除了屏幕外,就是應用不停的鏈接
網絡。很多應用駐留後台,不停的鏈接網絡,就相當於你不停的
撥打電話,雖然每次不長,但是手機第一次發起網絡連接請求時
往往瞬時電流會達到很大(很多手機瞬時電流達到1A)。
• 2、網絡帶寬耗電。3G手機由於網絡帶寬比2G大,所以很多人在
使用3G登錄網絡時,沒有註意到網絡下載量要比2G手機大很多。
手機每發送或者接受一個bit單位的無線信號,都需要消耗電源。
而無線帶寬的增長,讓數據量×10倍的增加。這個耗電量還是很
可觀的。
2G VS 3G VS 4G 耗電量
• 3、3G網絡覆蓋導致的耗電。這裡邊包含兩點:一個是在國內3G
網絡的覆蓋遠遠比不上2G網絡的覆蓋,另外一個是3G網絡本身
是一個自乾擾系統,網絡裡的手機越多,手機擁塞成指數上升。
• 手機駐留在網絡裡的時候,會不停時間的搜索網絡,如果掉網,
手機再次搜索到網絡後,會以最大功率去發送信號請求接入網絡,
3G手機是23dbm。
• 上邊提到手機初始接入網絡會比較好點,如果網絡覆蓋不好,而
現在的人乘坐交通工具頻繁移動,也相當導致手機頻繁搜索接入
網絡。而在2G網絡下,則相對好很多。
• 另外,就是3G手機網絡一旦擁塞,按照現在的通信協議規定,手
機會頻繁嘗試接入網絡,並且抬高發送功率。這都是要消耗電源
的。
2G VS 3G VS 4G 耗電量
• 4、3G手機上的基帶芯片處理相比2G手機要求更高的能力。這點
也會引起耗電量增加。
• 工作在900MHZ的GSM手機,最大的發射功率約為2W。CDMA
IS95規範對手機最大發射功率要求為0.2-1W,目前網絡實際上
允許手機的最大發射功率為0.2W
2G VS 3G VS 4G
• 2G為分時多工,也就是一個頻道寬度(馬路)窄,一次可能只能通
行一台車,故大家要輪流使用這個頻道。
• 3G為分碼多工,也就是一大段頻道寬度,一次可以塞大量的車,
而透過不同編碼接收數據。
• 4G為分頻多工,也就是每個人一個頻道寬度,自己走自己的。

計費方式
• 為何以前2G上網是用使用時間計算?
• 前述架構可知道,2G上網時,手機會跟基地台註冊,頻道則有一段時間
是保留給該用戶手機,就算不傳送資料,頻道亦會保留在那。
• 而3G, 4G則採用數據在頻道上混合發送的方式,不會有誰持續占用頻道
時間的問題,所以是以數據量計費。
