The Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest is the seat of Hungary's National Assembly and one of the oldest legislative buildings in Europe. Construction began in 1885 and was completed in 1904, using over 40 million bricks, half a million precious stones, and 40 kg of gold. It sits on the bank of the Danube River and is currently the largest building in Hungary and second largest parliament building in Europe.
