Hapag-Lloyd and Hamburg Süd are investigating if, and under what conditions, a merger
of both companies would be of interest.
Hapag-Lloyd and Hamburg Süd have a long history of cooperation, and are currently
partners in a number of services. At this stage there is no certainty that the discussions
will ultimately lead to a transaction. We will of course inform you about a result of the
process.
