How we created our chapter 4
1. The students in the class read chapters 1-3 of a fairytale about lost sol keys and music. 2. They decided to write their own Chapter 4 of the fairytale. They brainstormed ideas and chose to include characters from Turkish history and folklore like Hazerfen Ahmet Çelebi and Aşık Veysel. 3. Working in small groups, the students drew pictures, wrote the story, and created a cover to complete their Chapter 4 of the fairytale. They shared their work online for others to read.
How we created our chapter 4
- 1. How we createdour chapter 4 Deep to the roots of the fairytale
- 2. We read chapter 1.We like it so much. Because ıt was so creavite to use sol keys. My pupils thought that they should do an activity about music.
- 3. We listened tothe music. We relaxed. I asked my pupils what they dreamed. My pupils said that: ‘we love Aşık Veysel. Should we add him our fairytale.’ So I wrote their opinions on the board to ask others.

- 5. We read chapter 2. Therewas 2. sol key in this chapter. We decided to find sol key in our chapter.
- 6. Hazerfen Ahmet Çelebi isthe first flying man in the world. We read it in our Turkish books. My pupils liked him so much. They decided to add him and his bird wing in our chapter 4.
- 7. Our teacher gaveus bağlama(Turkish musical instrument). We tried to play it. We sang Aşık Veysel’s famous song. We had fun all together. - 11. I asked mystudents which character you would like to add. They answered me that: Şahmeran, The wolf, Hazerfen Ahmet Çelebi and Aşık Veysel. They liked bağlama and would like to use it in our chapter 4.
- 12. We wrote our ideason board. They told their opinion then we discussed. Finally we decided to wrote 4 pages.
- 13. While we were discussing, Semihwould like to write our chapter 4 in word file. So we discussed and Semih wrote them.
- 14. We started to work withsmall groups to draw our pictures.

- 28. We started towork for our cover. We used realtimeboard tool. It was useful. We added Galata Tower and Red river in this page. The other partners completed it. So our cover was ready.
