Students from Greece and the UK had a virtual farewell meeting where they introduced themselves to each other, asked questions, sang songs, and shared facts about where they live. They had fun getting to know one another and expressed hope in meeting again in the future.
How we created our chapter 4
1. The students in the class read chapters 1-3 of a fairytale about lost sol keys and music.
2. They decided to write their own Chapter 4 of the fairytale. They brainstormed ideas and chose to include characters from Turkish history and folklore like Hazerfen Ahmet Çelebi and Aşık Veysel.
3. Working in small groups, the students drew pictures, wrote the story, and created a cover to complete their Chapter 4 of the fairytale. They shared their work online for others to read.
Gediminas dream-basic (1)
A group went hunting in Vilnius and became tired, so they slept. Gedimina had a dream where he shot a big wolf, and priests and priestesses danced. When he asked about the meaning of his dream, he was told it meant he should build a city there, so they started construction of Vilnius, which later became the capital.

The girl with golden hair's mother would leave her daughter's hair in flowers each day to retrieve gold from them. A mad woman saw this and wanted the gold for herself. She went to their house and told the girl she was hungry and sick. The kind girl let her stay, but the mad woman's true intent was to steal the gold. After taking the gold, the mad woman realized she was wrong and promised not to do something like that again.
Treasure
The document summarizes a Turkish fairytale called "Treasure" as told by some students. In the story, a homeless rabbit finds carrots in a field and discovers a treasure while eating. The rabbit offers the treasure to the field's owner in exchange for the carrots and use of the land. Keloğlan and dwarwes
Keloğlan goes on a journey to earn money so he can marry the beautiful girl in his village. On the road, he meets Bad Hasan and they travel together, but Bad Hasan tricks Keloğlan into eating all of his own food. Later, Keloğlan overhears dwarves dancing at night reveal the location of a treasure, which he finds and uses to become rich and marry the girl.
Keloğlan and Ali Cengiz
The document summarizes a folktale about Keloğlan, a boy without hair who wants to marry the Sultan's daughter. Keloğlan's mother goes to the Sultan to ask for his daughter's hand in marriage.
