Since 2012, I have moved 3 times. The first move was definitely the hardest of all the moves. My
entire life was turned upside down right before high school. I was happy to move, but it was a
complete change. I had to relearn how to live, and I suddenly had to be the one to care for my
younger siblings. From the ages of 8– 14, I lived in a very volatile home. Coming home from school,
I never knew if it was going to be a quiet day in my house or if the entire house would be engulfed
in screaming. I dreaded the weekends, that meant that everyone was going to be home. Everyone
home meant that things could easily go up to flames in just a millisecond. I tried my best to
never be home, I would spend the days with my friends. I knew that when I got home there was a
90% chance of everyone fighting. One day in the summer of 2012, things got too heated, and my
mom finally decided to move. We packed up everything in a few hours while my stepfather was at
work. We moved into my best friend's home for a few days until we found an apartment within the

things to worry about than other high schoolers. I had to figure out how I was going to get home,

let them fall even though I knew I could do better. I was just way too busy to focus on school when

8th period everyday, I could tell what was about to happen. My name was all that I would let him

It was the summer of 1989 my started his new job at Shoney's Family Restaurant. At start he
didn't know what to expect from his old shift leader at a new work place it's to say he was
nervous. But he knew this is a new learning experience at cooking. Day by day he learn, fix, and
made mistake but he never got down from it. At the age 17 my dad question his decision about
cooking. His manager talk to him after work talking about working in the cooking industry, at the
time my dad told me that he became very frustrating of what he want to do till that night . About
summer of 1991 my dad begin Culinary School at the University of North Alabama. Now my was
he was a little bit afraid about going to a big college but he know what he was going for and know

4. Narrative Essay On Anxiety
I was officially diagnosed with Anxiety this summer, 2016. Since I was little my parents claim
they knew I had it. My parents would tell you my mood swings would be out of control. When
something would go astray my mood would shift. Shift to almost a three year old having a
meltdown. The crying, creaming, hyperventilating, shaking, the world seemed it was ending in
my eyes. Many times if you were to ask me why I was behaving as such I couldn't tell you. Losing
sight to what the initial issue was. I was go to bed after, my parents telling my I need a nap. I
would crawl into bed, the familiar sent of the linen sheets, calming me down. I would wake up from

I did it for fun and loved it, just like nay other college student. But than I discovered "self
medicating" in a sense. I did a ton of research and I started smoking to help with my anxiety. I
discovered a medicine that helped me.
I found the right amount to smoke to help me daily and I found more of my triggers and how to
handle them. I know I need structure. I started smoking every night. Because at night my
thoughts being to race and my anxiety starts to spike. So every night I would smoke after a
month of doing so I learned that my anxiety went way down. After three months, my friends
started noticing that my anxiety "went away". Since than living with anxiety has been doable for
me. I feel I can manage it. I feel I have control over my anxiety. My grades went up because I was
able to focus on school and not anxiety. My friends and I created a closer bond because once
again I was able to focus on us and not the anxiety. Everything was becoming clear to me.
Everyone has their own way of handling anxiety. Medications world for some vs others like me, it
made it worse. However I found my solution for anxiety. I found what worked for
