The rotor bearings in a generator need to be replaced by first disconnecting the front cover, removing the nut and rotor, then pressing out the old bearings and replacing them one at a time along with a distance ring before reassembling in reverse order.

1. Rotor Bearings Replacement
1. Disconnect the front cover
2. Remove the nut from the rotor

2. 3. Remove the rotor from the generator
4. Remove the safety ring from the rotor bearings

3. 5. Press the rotor bearings out of the front cover
6. Replace the rotor bearings. First one bearing, then the distance ring
and at last the 2nd bearing
7. Assembling in the inverse sequence
