•What was issue? 
•We needed a way to track board and committee membership that would be clear and concise and would allow for easy reporting and tracking. 
•Campaigns would be too messy and hard to maintain. 
•Classification Types would have been mixed with other classifications (employee, donor, etc.). 
•How did we solve it? 
•We created a custom object at the contact level to manage the information!

What did we do? 
Volunteer sign-up, Processing & Hours Tracking 
•What was issue? 
•We needed to have all volunteers sign up online and include required information for running background checks. 
•We wanted to track the processing of new volunteers from sign-up to background checks to placement . 
•We also needed to track hours volunteered, but in a much simpler way than what is built into Luminate CRM with the Volunteer Job Shift object. 
•How did we solve it? 
•We created a volunteer sign-up form using “Volunteers for Salesforce.” 
•We created a custom object to track the volunteer process. 
•We created a custom object to record volunteer hours.

Board and Committee Membership •What was issue? •We needed a way to track board and committee membership that would be clear and concise and would allow for easy reporting and tracking. •Campaigns would be too messy and hard to maintain. •Classification Types would have been mixed with other classifications (employee, donor, etc.). •How did we solve it? •We created a custom object at the contact level to manage the information! 26 #bbcon

Volunteer sign-up, Processing & Hours Tracking •What was issue? •We needed to have all volunteers sign up online and include required information for running background checks. •We wanted to track the processing of new volunteers from sign-up to background checks to placement . •We also needed to track hours volunteered, but in a much simpler way than what is built into Luminate CRM with the Volunteer Job Shift object. •How did we solve it? •We created a volunteer sign-up form using “Volunteers for Salesforce.” •We created a custom object to track the volunteer process. •We created a custom object to record volunteer hours. 29 #bbcon
