5. • Based on the poetry above, the mood that the poet
create through his use of imagery are vary. The first
one is the nostalgic, the second is lonely, the third is
reminiscent, the fourth is regretful, the fifth is
disappointed, and the last is maybe the impossibility.

6. • The imagery from this poetry creates several emotions tingling in myself. I
feel sad when I imagine the time that I spent with my family and friends
turned into the fragments of memories. The memories of the past that feel as
if they occurred not so long ago. The more time I spend alone, the more I
realized that everyone who were once close to me, starting to make their
distance. There are many kind of thoughts that are piling up inside my head.
Where did I go wrong ? If we are born alone, then, is it true that the human
/ people are destined to die alone ? Whatever it is, we should started to
cherish the time with the people that we cherish, as someone said- " A life
spent doing mistakes is better than a life spent doing nothing."

7. • It is using several characters and setting, the first is the inside speaker. The poet uses
“I” frequently, which describes the memory of someone (maybe the author
himself). The second is the listener, I think, this poetry is expressed by the poet to
the adult people, the person who is busy with his/her life. They didn’t have enough
time to relax, to socialize with their family, friends, etc. The third is the participant
(supporting), in this case, the participant is the clock and the time.

8. • Stanzas are a series of lines grouped together and separated by
an empty line from other stanzas. There are many kind of
stanzas, but in this poetry, the stanza that is used by the the
poet is the Couplet : two lines of verse that rhyme at the end
and are thought as one unit.

9. • Rhyme is the rhyming of words at the ends of lines of poetry.
This poetry use Couplet Rhyme : It contains two-line stanzas
with the “AA” rhyme scheme, which often appears as “AA BB
CC and DD…”

there are several symbolism.
1. Life is used to represent something, that is absolute. Every living
things depend on this “life”.
2. Time is used to represent something, that can’t be stopped and
will keep moving on. It can be described as a railway on working
days, it will keep operating until the time has come to end it.

11. The use of one thing to represent something else. In this poetry,
there are several symbolism.
3. Memory is used to represent as a treasure that’s very important.
Because we can’t control the time, so we should hold dear to t
his “treasure”.

Attribution of personality to an impersonal thing.
In this poem, it’s described that the life, which is not a living
thing, doing an act of counting down “on you internal clock”,
“internal clock” in my opinion means, the lifetime that each
human being have.

13. 2. Metaphor
Comparison between two relatively unlike things using a form of be. The
comparison is not announced by like or as.
“family is scarce and memories continue to fade away”.
In this poem, “family is scarce”, described as the condition when the person
in this poem rarely meet with his/her family and “memories continue to
fade away” is the result when he/she rarely meet with her family and the
memories that they had before started to hazy and forgotten.

Repeated consonant sounds occurring at the
beginning of words or within words. In this
poem, there’s only one alliteration, that is
“But back to reality...back to today”.
