This document provides two options for getting online help from the West GA library homepage. Option 1 involves clicking "live help 24/7" and connecting with a representative to ask questions and receive immediate responses via a saved conversation. Option 2 allows chatting directly from the homepage for quick responses, but the conversation is not saved. Both options connect users with a library worker to get assistance. Contact information for the Ingram Library is also provided.

1. How to Get Help Online

2. Step 1:
Go to West GA library home page.
http://www.westga.edu/library/

3. Step 2:
Option 1
Click live help 24/7 (located at the top left hand side of the page)
Option2
Scroll down and on the right hand side began typing in the text box

4. Option 1
Part 1
After clicking on” live 24/7 help” fill in the information on the left hand side of the page
the press “Connect”

5. Option 1
Part 2
After connecting you may began typing your question. You will immediately receive an
response indicating who you are speaking to. From there you may proceed with getting
help.

6. Option 2
With this option you can
immediately start chatting
with a library worker and
receive help from the
homepage.

7. The Difference Between Option 1 & 2
• Option 1 allows you to have save of the conversation
and send it to our provided mail, so in the future you
will always have your acquired information on hand.
• Option 2 also allows quick responses with a UWG library
representative. However the conversation are not saved
