This experiment demonstrates how to extract chlorophyll from spinach leaves using alcohol, sugar, filter paper, a glass, mortar, funnel, and dropper. The leaves are cut and mashed with alcohol and sugar, then the liquid is filtered and drops are placed on filter paper to view the extracted green chlorophyll.
